Update

Update for Friday!
Don't be alarmed, but Scott and I were in a car accident today. We are ok, but sore. Tomorrow we will be MORE sore. It could have been so much worse, but this is my first real accident. We were at a stop light and was hit from behind. In my new car. My first new car. Oh well, it is just a car, we all have insurance, and we all walked away. Bless his heart the guy that hit us just kept saying he was so sorry, just so sorry. I told it was going to be ok, that's why they are called "accident's" otherwise he would have been arrested for ADW...Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He just looked at me. Later he asked me what I did, I had told him we had just retired and moved here. When he asked me what I did for a living I asked him if he really wanted to know? He said yes?! I said I am a retired police officer. Oh. Nothing else was said. Bless his heart. I took Scott to the hospital to be checked out for his neck was hurting, I did see him go flying even with his seat belt on. But he is fine. Just pulled muscles. Tonight I am starting to feel it, but I can't whine about it. I made some comment about how big of babies men are! Dang it!! Should have kept my mouth shut!
I will try to post about the puppy present to Caleb (yes we still delivered that puppy!). I got a short video clip of it and it made my eyes tear up. It was very sweet. But for tonight, give me drugs and a soft pillow. And with no puppy, a full nights sleep! Good night all.

Must be nice to be a grandparent and give the little ones (puppies and babies alike) back to their mom's and dad's. Sleeping sounds wonderful right now. I'm really sorry you had an accident, but thankful you weren't hurt. I hope you're not as sore tomorrow as you think you may be. You can whine on the blog - we didn't hear you say that about men being babies :)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO relieved you are alright! If you have any insurance questions (or body shop questions, repair questions, etc) remember that's what Jarred does for a living. He can help.

I am so glad that you are ok. The next day is the worst. It is the same as after a strenuous workout. Make sure to get medically checked if it feels like more than a sore muscle. It could be in your spine and you could probably use some chiropractic

On another note, I received this on my frenchie rescue group. I thought you might know some boxer people that might be able to help. If you have any questions, contact the Sara. Her email is below. I did not get to see the pictures as I am on digest.

Keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi frenchie folk-
Below is a post from the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network. For those of you
who aren't able to see the pictures, the first listing is for two boxers who
are in a kill shelter in South Carolina. They are scheduled to be sacrificed
on Monday and so time is clearly of the essence. They are looking for
fosters and I believe that if you are in or around the NY metro area or
closeby on on the East Coast BAFN would commit to the transport. The
contact is Laurie at 917 754-3537. I spoke with her today and she is very
responsive (stressed about this, but responsive). Unfortunately, our lease
has a weight limit of 30 pounds and we're on the 4th floor, so I don't think
we can get away with it...as skinny and sad as they are.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me directly and if anyone does
contact Laurie, please let me know that you are doing so or let her know
that you got her information from this list.

Thanks in advance...hoping that one of us knows someone who might be able to
do this.

Sara

Yeah, I am even more sore the second day after my "accident" than I was the first day after. I had someone see my car tonight and asked what hit me! When I told them, they still didn't believe me, and he was at work when it happened and missed the whole thing. Only good thing is I will probably heal faster than the two of you!!

Thank goodness you and Scott are okay! One always thinks of the "what might have been" options, and I think the stress then multiplies even more. Do take it easy today. I hope the aches and pains don't get too bad.

And please do post about Caleb's puppy. What did he name her?

Sending careful hugs so I won't give you any more pain! I am so glad it wasn't worse!

Blessings,
Marge

So glad you are ok. I bet you are really feeling it today. Thank goodness for drugs(legal ones that is).

I know the puppy was an exciting gift.

Good grief, I go away and you have an accident! From now on, you stay home, or go with me...can't leave you alone for a minute :)

I hate being hit from behind, because half the time you know it's coming and tense all up and stuff. I am so thankful you both are okay!!
