I've Lost My Boy!

And I don't know where to find him!

I have looked high and low, called his name, and just can't find my boy. Have you seen him?
I miss him so badly, it makes me really sad that he is gone. I wanted to do so much more with him now that his SISTER is gone. Maybe a trip to the zoo, or freshly made popcorn the old fashion way and a movie with grandma/pa, maybe a little somethin' somethin' (ice cream or candy is what I had in mind!)for a special boy... like anything his heart desires!!!! But I guess not since I can't find him...ANY WHERE.

WHAT!!!! Oh my goodness, there he is hiding in his dog house behind the sofa. What a great place to hide. I would never have thought to look for him there.

This might have been a clue since everyone else seemed to know where he was but me.

And yes, that is SCOOBY DO snacks!!! Oh my gosh, when I found them,

I knew, I KNEW we had to have them. Every dog loves those Scooby snacks.

Just the perfect size for a little boy dog's mouth!

Now that sister is gone Caleb gets all the attention and he loves it.

So tonight I made popcorn on the stove, watched a movie with a little

boy and his pillow laying all comfy on grandma's lap.

But also tried to make goo. First I tried to make slime,
but that "easy to do" recipe did NOT work for me.
Trash that one and start over.

He loved playing in the goo and we now have it in a zip lock baggie
for safe keeping!!??

Then....Grandpa found a tree frog.

He would jump on Caleb and hang on tight.

But then again if THAT was waiting on you to fall wouldn't you hang on tight too?
We are so enjoying our little man, wonder what the rest of the weekend will hold?
I don't know, but I bet I will post more pictures to tell you about it.

Sounds like you're having a great start to the weekend! What fun, and what a cutie! I'm going to get me some grandkid time too. I think we're going to take a quick camping trip, just overnight, to the state park which is only about 10 miles from here. Maybe I'll get some good photos to post!

Lots of tornados in Minnesota last night, but only some rain and a little wind here. Supposed to be nice today and tomorrow, so I think we'll take advantage of the lower humidity and go camping with daughter and family.

I know you are having a great time with him.

There's nothing like making memories with these grandchildren. They eventually outgrow us, but the will always remember when they did things with you.

I want to be remembered as the best grandmother in the world by mine.

what a fun grandmother you are! I had to laugh at the dogs...can't ever pull anything off when there are curious canines around!

You're such a good grandma! My parents spoil my kids too. Though they aren't "young" grandparents. Are all your dogs aka "kids" boxers? My best friend has a boxer and we had 2 when I was a kid. They are so cute.
My kids love to make tents too. Have a great day Lisa!

I love your boxer. Seriously. I jogged yesterday morning at the show with my friend's boxers. They are cool dogs.

Keep passing out hugs and good times to that grandchild of yours!

There is nothing like spending some special time with grandma and grandpa (not sure what he calls you)!

Fort building is one of my guys' favorite things to do. He is a real cutie. I hope you are loving your time.

Have a great week!

Absolutely adorable story! Maybe you should write a children's book? You are one heck of a Grandma and Grandpa! Can I come and make goo? Whatever goo is? This was a great post, girl :)
