Friday's Funnies

Don't forget to visit
for her final day of pumpkin week!

Finally, Friday Funnies

Ok, it is Friday again, for you working people...Hip Hip Hooray!!! For me? Ok, what day of the week is it? Oh Friday, ok. Oh that means OU should be playing football tomorrow. Yeah!!!

But Friday's are special days, pop on over to Kim at Homesteader Heart and get your funny bone tickled today. Link up so we can all see your jokes too. This is such a fun way to share our Friday.

Today I am doing a Red Neck Joke that was sent to me. I saw another blogger posted the Red Neck Fire Alarm, so I told her I would post a Red Neck Joke. Why not? I'm from the south too.

REDNECK LOVE POEM

SUSIE LEE DONE FELL IN LOVE,

SHE PLANNED TO MARRY JOE.

SHE WAS SO HAPPY 'BOUT IT ALL,

SHE TOLD HER PAPPY SO.

PAPPY TOLD HER, 'SUSIE GAL,

YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER.

I'D JUST AS SOON YO' MA DON'T KNOW,

BUT JOE IS YO' HALF BROTHER.'

SO SUSIE PUT ASIDE HER JOE

AND PLANNED TO MARRY WILL.

BUT AFTER TELLING PAPPY THIS,

HE SAID, 'THERE'S TROUBLE STILL.'

'YOU CAN'T MARRY WILL, MY GAL,

AND PLEASE DON'T TELL YOU' MOTHER.

WILL AND JOE, AND SEVERAL MO'

I K NOW IS YO' HALF BROTHER.'

BUT MAMA KNEW AND SAID, 'MY CHILD,

JUST DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.

MARRY WILL, OR MARRY JOE:

YOU AIN'T NO KIN TO PAPPY.'

(Kinda brings a tear to yer eye, don't it?)

Oh I love telling jokes (even if they aren't mine originally) so I might even add one more...is that ok?

A Short Love Story

A man and a woman who had never met before but were both married to other people found themselves assigned to the same sleeping compartment on a Trans-continental train.Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room, they were both very tired and fell asleep quickly -- he in the upper bunk and she in the lower. At 1 a.m., the man leaned down and gently woke the woman saying, "Ma'a m, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you be willing to reach into the closet and get me a second blanket? I'm awfully cold.""I have a better idea," she replied. "Just for tonight, let's pretend that we're married.""Wow! That's a great idea!" he exclaimed."Good," she replied. "Get your own blanket."After a moment of silence, he farted.

Ok, I'm done till next week. Happy Weekend to you all. I'm going to the Fair!!!

I just happened by, through Debbie's blog, Gittin' in Outta my head.
I looked at your last post and noticed you mentioned Enid. It just caught my eye because I have or had distant relatives who lived there and in Jay, but I have no clue where either of those are...
I love your laughing song. I'm home by myself and found myself laughing out loud to the song. I guess it's akin to singing to songs...
My point is I wanted to say hi!
