I'm Retired You Know!!

Working way too hard!!!

I ran over to Stillwater yesterday to see some of my most favorite people.

****GRANDKIDS.****

I was getting to take their pictures and that is always exciting.

I learned a lot of things while taking these pictures, like the sun spots, and hot spots, meaning way too much light...and dealing with a 11 month old that is walking and running every where. These were some of my challenges. Plus still needing to learn my camera better.

Then while I was there taking their pictures, I was also going to take pictures

of Scott's brother and his wife. They are getting ready to have

their 50th wedding anniversary next month.

Raleigh and Betty Jo Jobes
He taught Ag Econ at Oklahoma State University
for many years.

These pictures were taken on the OSU campus.

Now this next pictures were taken off site and again the sun was way too hot.

It was a terrible experience and I hate that I put them through it.

We were finally able to find a spot in the shade.

Do you like either of these pictures?

Do you like the edges darkened? Are they too dark?

Do you like the square or the oval better.

Let me also show you the one that is not doctored at all.

Another picture taken on the campus of OSU,

I like the use of bridges and I think this is a pretty one.

This picture is of Rachel in black and white with the

OSU left in color.

Then I put a little soft light on the OSU.

I am having fun with trying different things.

Here are their grand kids.

Rachel, Austin and Walker.

They were such good sports,

I could not be more proud.

Rachel is a Sr. this year and I want to take

her to go do some pictures.

This was edited with a "flashlight" lighting effect.

Allen, is their handsome dad and

they were all so willing to indulge me....I loved it.

And of course when do you ever see a teenager with out her/his cell phone.

So we had to include it in the family photos.

Great shots, you're coming along. I like the ones without the edges darkened, but that's just me. Glad you had a fun and productive weekend.

Um, yes. I'd like to make an appointment for a photo shoot! The toddler is a little challenging, the oldest is a drama queen and the middle boy is into the 'fake smile' Other than that, we are really photogenic.

What do you think?

If you are looking for actions to use with ps try Pioneer Woman's free actions - I really like them.

Those are all great pictures - you're doing great! And how nice to visit with everybody.

I like the oval better than the square and I do like the edges darkened - seems like it brightens up the colors in the pic.

Great job Lisa! They are all so good. I love black and whites. They are always my favorite. I also like the oval edge better than the square.
Keep up the good work!

There you go again, making me jealous of you and your camera! I've got to get over that.....I don't like people who covet things other people have! Actually, I did find a camera I liked, so now I've got to save up the bucks..... I like the black shaded oval one, and the one on the bridge. And of course the grandkids.....they are so cute!

Have a great day, my friend!

Your pictures are getting better and better! You should be proud! Cara has always said that older subjects are a lot easier to handle than younger ones. I have been on a couple of shoots with here and I know those are a crazy lot of work - but you seem to be doing awesome with them - young and old!
