Photography Class

Here We Go Again!
Well I am taking another class for photography. I don't know why, it will not do me any good, but I don't really have anything pressing on my calendar for Mondays so why not? I don't think there is that much help for me, and I really need to take a photo shop class more than anything. I will try and do that this fall maybe at the vo-tech or maybe even at the junior college here. But I will show you what we did tonight.
This is the old train depot in Bristow. I have been there before, but I do find it an interesting place.
I like trees, and just thought this made for a different view of them.

This is the court yard, or something like that up by the street. It was probably where people waited for the train years ago.

Michelle is one of the students. We made her be our model for a couple shots. We had the class together last semester and became friends. She lives near me so she rode with me to the class. We have to drive 20-25 miles down the turnpike to this class so we should car pool as much as possible.

One of the old doorknobs at the train depot. This belonged to an old shop where people would go spend their money while waiting on the train. Sounds like a good plan to me.

This is just a piece of drift wood. I thought it looked like a dead bird so I needed to take its picture. Sick huh? Well I just needed some pictures.

A piece of wood with four bolts in it. The importance? None from my point of view. It is however a cross beam holding up a roof, so there fore it probably is important. I was trying to see how close I could get and still get a picture. Looks like I got a pretty close shot huh?

And this is Tara! She is a really good photographer. I had class with her last semester as well. I enjoy hanging out with her and I love looking at her work. We were just sitting in class listening to me ask a bunch of questions. They will probably wish I had not been invited to attend this class. Oh well. I paid my money, I am going to get my money's worth this time!

I would love to take a photography class sometime! I like your shot of the trees in a row.....and your dead bird piece of wood. I take pictures of strange things too. A mushroom or a bug sometimes. Other times it's trees and flowers. Enjoy your class!

I love the picture of the trees - its framed perfectly. I am taking an on-line photography class right now and love it! Best of luck.

As for the Photo Shop you would be surprised what you can learn just playing around with it. If I can help you out at all, let me know. Though, I have ALOT to know too!
