Florida Pictures II

Look who came by for a visit.....

And these people too.
They came by to see what they could catch for dinner...

They just drove their boat on the beach, don't know why.
I didn't ask them. But I do know they didn't catch anything.
Take out any one?
This also shows the boardwalk outside the building of the condo.

I just never tired of this view.
I was on the balcony taking these pictures.

People would walk their dogs, ride bikes, or jog.
I just thought this would be such a neat place to live.

The grader comes along to fix the "road" on the beach.
He just pushes the sand back into the ocean line.

Then after he made a few passes, graded it just
like he wanted it, he moved on to the next "beach entrance".

Of course what is a beach with out a sea gull?

And sometimes big nice boats would fly by.

Again, just a cloudy sunset with a view.

Scott was collecting sea shells by the sea shore in the sand.

I LOVE this picture.
When it is blown up larger it is just really cool looking.

Aunt Peggy was "testing" the water.
she could move pretty quickly when it threatened to
cover her shoes with that nice cold water!
Even with hip replacement surgery she is pretty quick on her feet!
Then Uncle Jerry was taking a picture of me so
I took a picture of him taking a picture of me...
He stuck his tongue out at me!

And I got tons of pictures of this guy surfing.
Why? I don't know, just because he was there.

The rabbits there are weird. No long ears and no
cotton ball for a tail. But they were still very cute.
Wonder what they would think of their Oklahoma cousins?
And these things were huge!!! They must be Texas turtles
misplaced. Because they say everything is bigger in Texas.
These guys are giant!
Scott and Uncle Jerry thought it was a guy and a girl "courting".
The guy out of the hole would bob his head quite a bit.
There was definitely a lot being said.
The ranger told us later that it is two males and they
weren't courting....they were arguing over the residence.
I don't know what you call this thing. It is a large parachute type
thing pulling a guy on a skateboard looking thing.
And boy did it pull him right now the beach.
FAST.
This day was very foggy as the sun tried to greet us.
This picture was taken during high tide and I loved capturing
how close to the "road" it came. I just enjoyed seeing
all the different stages, and temperaments.
This picture is of the beach further south of St. Augustine.
We went out sight seeing (and eating!!!) and this is
one of the beaches. Oh I just can't get enough. Look how blue!
Just look at how BEAUTIFUL.....

Beautiful again!
You are making me want to walk on my beach. I hate to say it, but I take it for granted! Bad me!

I never tire of beach pictures...the ocean is just so majestic and your sound of the gulls perfectly accompanies the scenery...makes me wish I was there! I guess I'll have to schedule a day at the beach before I head back to school Feb. 16th...you have me craving a little sand between my toes!

I am so envious!!! And the pictures are gor-ge-ous... Made me almost feel like I was there. I'm glad you are home, safe and sound, and I know the "kids" were excited to get you home. Now kick up your feet and enjoy going over all your wonderful pictures and reliving the whole trip.

I said oooh and wow on the last one. These are great! I thought I was really there for a second when I heard the seagull! LOL LOL I thought I had the mute on and knew I was losing it. Perfect "sound" track!!

I always love the ocean. One of my favorite things to do is sit on our balcony at our condo in MD and listen to the ocean and watch the seagulls early in the morning....

All so lovely! I love looking at the ocean on our coast, but would much prefer the warmth that goes with it on the east coast.
