Happy Birthday Brother--Friday Funnies

The BIG 4-0!

Today my younger brother turns 40. The big 4-0. He joins the Over the Hill gang. he won't read this so it doesn't matter what I write either. My brother is a fire fighter paramedic, so not only does he fight fires, he runs on the ambulance to save lives all the time. He works in a really nice town called Broken Arrow, and he has been there for over a dozen years now I think. I wanted to do something really mean to him for his birthday but he is in a Haz Mat school all this week and I don't know where it is. Plus it would not be proper to send a stripper to the fire department for his birthday huh? Darn it! I really wanted to do SOMETHING to him....just because. So I sent him a card and put a bunch of "40" confetti in it. I thought he would come home from class today and open his card. I thought his daughter would get a big kick out of the confetti on the floor and all would be good. Well...that is not what happened. I got a phone call yesterday and it was my brother. He asked if I had a shop vac. I said no, but Scott does. He said, well you better get it and come get all these 40's out of my truck. I'm thinking...40's. beer? Why would I need to come shop vac a bunch of 40's out of his truck. Then Scott said, Oh I know what it is...you sent him that card. Well the card should not have been there till today, but he got it in one day. Darn that dependable US postal service. Rob got his card, did not recognize my address (I have only lived here for a year and a half!!) he said he did not think about his birthday and it being a card. But it said "do not bend" so he thought someone had sent him some pictures so he was very careful to open the envelope. He pulled it opened and out all that confetti fell, right in his truck. Ooopps!! That was not planned. But it works!
So happy birthday Rob,...and I guess I got cha!

So in honor of my brother and his old age birthday I have a good joke for the day. It is very fitting. See what you think and then go see Kim at Homesteaders Heart and see what other funnies people have!

Wally's Wedding Night

At 85 years of age, Wally married Anne, a lovely 25 year old. Since her new husband is so old, Anne decides that after their wedding she and Wally should have separate bedrooms, because she is concerned that her new but aged husband may overexert himself if they spend the entire night together.

After the wedding festivities Anne prepares herself for bed and the expected 'knock' on the door. Sure enough the knock comes, the door opens and there is Wally, her 85 year old groom, ready for action. They unite as one. All goes well, Wally takes leave of his bride, and she prepares to go to sleep.

After a few minutes, Anne hears another knock on her bedroom door, and it's Wally. Again he is ready for more 'action.' Somewhat surprised, Anne consents for more coupling. When the newlyweds are done, Wally kisses his bride, bids her a fond goodnight and leaves.

She is set to go to sleep again, but, you guessed it..... Wally is back again, rapping on the door, and is as fresh as a 25-year-old, ready for more 'action.' And, once again they enjoy each other.

As Wally gets set to leave, his young bride says, I am thoroughly impressed that at your age you can perform so well and so often. I have been with guys less than a third of your age who were only good once. You are truly a great lover Wally.

Wally, somewhat embarrassed, turns to Anne and says: .......

'You mean I was here already?'

The moral of the story:

Don't be afraid of getting old, senior moments have advantages..

Since I'll be 64 next month I can't feel too sorry for your brother, but I can remember when I turned 40 I thought my life was over... Boy, was I wrong!!

I'm looking towards March for getting together so you can shoot my mini-schnauzers... I guess I should say photograph them.

I love the joke!

Ah yes, many advantages to getting older...like watching the same movie again because you can't remember if you've seen it or not...

Happy birthday to your brother...40 is a good number...I can still remember that one! A little confetti in his truck won't hurt him...it will remind him how much he's loved!

That was a funny one!

Hey, I forgot where you are going in Florida? I suppose it's too far for us to hook up, but that sure would be fun, wouldn't it?

I can remember when I didn't think I'd still be alive after 40...but then not too sure I am.

Hope he had a great birthday. You are a good sister for remembering.
