Friday Funnies

It's Friday!!! Hope you have a wonderful day, and if you have little costume wearers be SAFE!
Join Kim at Homesteaders Heart for her weekly fun of Friday Funnies!

This first one is pretty scarey, so don't read it in the dark or before you go to bed!

A man was walking home alone late one foggy night, when behind him he hears:
BUMP...BUMP...BUMP...
Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him.
BUMP...BUMP...BUMP...
Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him
FASTER...FASTER...BUMP...BUMP... BUMP...
He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him.
However, the casket crashes through his door, with the lid of the casket clappingclappity-BUMP...clappity-BUMP...clappity-BUMP...on his heels, the terrified man runs.
Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, the man locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps. With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door.Bumping and clapping toward him.The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bottle of cough syrup!Desperate, he throws the cough syrup at the casket...and,

you're going to love this

The coffin stops !!!!!!

And a second joke just because I love Friday Funnies and I have a ton!

The Old Gas Station

The service station trade was slow.
The owner sat around,
With sharpened knife and cedar stick.
Piled shavings on the ground.

No modern facilities had they,
The log across the rill
Led to a shack, marked His and Hers
That sat against the hill.

'Where is the ladies restroom, sir?'
The owner leaning back,
Said not a word but whittled on,
And nodded toward the shack.

With quickened step she entered there
But only stayed a minute,
Until she screamed, just like a snake
Or spider might be in it.

With startled look and beet red face
She bounded through the door,
And headed quickly for the car.
Just like three gals before.

She tripped and fell -- got up,
And then in obvious disgust,
Ran to the car, stepped on the gas,
And faded in the dust.

Of course we all desired to know
What made the gals all do
The things they did, and then we found
The whittling owner knew.

A speaking system he'd devised
To make the thing complete,
He tied a speaker on the wall
Beneath the toilet seat.

He'd wait until the gals got set and then the devilish guy,
Would stop his whittling long enough, to speak into the mike.

And as she sat, a voice below struck terror, fright and fear
'Will you please use the other hole? We're painting under here'

It's Official for Miss Shae

Happy Re-Birth Day Shae
October 29, 2008

Every one waiting outside the courtroom for the hearing to start.
There is sister, Mi-Mi, Momma, Daddy and of course Shae
Momma (and Shae) have to testify before the judge.
She has to promise to take good care of the baby...forever.
Then daddy tells the court that he too will take good care of
his new little girl.

The judge finds no reason to deny Shae her new parents
and he gladly signs the paper.

Yep, right there, he signs it making it all REALLY official.

And just to make sure it is done right, Shae goes to

watch and to give the gavel the famous pounding.

Hummm, maybe she will become a judge someday.
She can you know!

This Judge was one of the nicest men I have met in a long time.

He not only accommodated us with pictures, he encouraged it.

He really loves his job, you can see the joy in his eyes,

he will tell you he LOVES this part of his job.

The handing off of the baby to her new parents.

Momma, Daddy and the judge all so happy to see

that Shae is HOME with lots of love, hugs and kisses.

This picture has the attorney (she did a great job as well!)

the whole family, Mimi and the judge all smiles.

A cute picture with the lady that made it all happen.

Shae and her big sister Sarah.

We had to get a picture of Shae giving HER testimony in the chair.

She didn't really have much to say....

I LOVE YOU was enough.

It's Official, welcome into the family

Miss Shae,

Your family loves you very much.

Windy but Beautiful Day!

More Pictures from
My Weekend!

Mother and daughter volunteered to let me take pictures of them.
I am trying to practice as much as I can and honestly I love it.
I love this color shirt on this momma, so fallish isn't it?
And her cute daughter was easy to photograph.
She had so many ideas and I let her go with each and everyone of them.
I just love it when they smile for you and you
don't even have to try to get them to!

This girl is the daughters best friend. Well they need a picture
together too. And look, pink and brown go nice together!

They had a lot of fun with these shots and the friend didn't know
she was going to do this.

I really like it when adults are willing to take pictures.
It will mean so much in the years to come to both
mother and daughter.
Isn't she so cute?

And so fun! I love taking pictures!

What I have been doing!

Happy Birthday Dad!!!!

Friday was my dad's 73rd birthday.

He got up early to take my mom to the hospital to have some test run on his birthday.

So they just hung out in Tulsa for a while afterwards till time for lunch.

I asked if I could come over and take his picture at the park.
It was sooo cold.
But dad is such a willing spirit.
I love my dad.
Happy Birthday dad.
I then took him to lunch!

Saturday starts with Soccer!
The Bears!
with attitude!!!
Saturday morning I got up at 5:30 to take soccer pictures!!!
The fog was so heavy I was not sure they could even play.

So after the game the parents were willing to hang around and let me
take both team and individual pictures.
These two boys are twins and have not had their picture taken together
since preschool. Well today that changed.
Aren't they cute?
This boy wears glasses and they are dark.
I could not believe how pretty his eyes were and I had to get a picture of them.

Another cutie pie. One of my favorite boys.
I taught his class a couple times last year for my sil.

And this one....I love his freckles.
He is a very talented soccer player
and not too bad lookin' either.
Ok, I know you all get tired of nothing but pictures,
but that is what my life is all about right now.
Tomorrow I am doing a mother daughter,
can't wait, I just love taking pictures.

Friday's Funnies

Can't get the picture to come up...oh well, here is my Friday Funny even though I am not in a good mood today, this does make me smile!!
Join Kim at Homesteaders Heart to see more funnies.
MAN WHO KNOWS HIS MATH writes...

I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver, who cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing the driver to drive onto the shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and gave the woman the finger.'Man, that guy is stupid,' I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic, and here's why:

I drive 48 miles each way every day to work.
That's 96 miles each day.Of these,
16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper.
Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway.
There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles.
That works out to 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars.
Even though the rest of the 32 miles is not bumper-to-bumper, I figure I pass at least another 4000 cars.
That brings the number to something like 36,000 cars that I pass every day.
Statistically, females drive half of these.
That's 18,000 women drivers!
In any given group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS.
That's 642.
According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying or unrewarding. That's 449.
According to the National Institute of Health, 22% of all females have seriously considered suicide or homicide. That's 98.
And 34% describe men as their biggest problem. That's 33.
According to the National Rifle Association, 5% of all females carry weapons and this number is increasing.
That me ans that EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that has a lousy love life,
thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously considered suicide or homicide,
has PMS, and is armed.
Give her the finger?
I don't think so.

New Family Member

Caleb, Grandpa and "Hudson"
This weekend was about Caleb!
We had decided to keep him during fall break
with out his sister, making it easier for us
and a lot more fun for Caleb.
A success for sure.
So trying to find things special for him we decided to add to the family of
our Webkinz. We were looking for the seal or the fish and did not
find them. BUT....I did find my friend selling all her stock for
get this...$7.00 each. so I bought several for my sister n law and her
students, and I bought Caleb what ever he wanted.
Let me introduce you to "Hudson", the snake!
We went to the corner park in "down town" Sapulpa to take
pictures. Grandma always want to practice with her camera.

My subjects were not as willing this time. They were tired and hungry.

And wanted to go home.

But I wanted to go to Pretty Water Lake for just a couple more shots.

Oh this one was still down in the corner park, sorry!

Ok I got them out of order, this is still at the park too.
He got a kick out of playing "airplane" in the tree.

Then the snake and boy hid in the tall jungle grass!
Hanging from the tree, Hurry up Grandma, I can't hold on any longer!!!
Two peas in a pod....for sure! Can WE GO HOME NOW!!!???

Ok I guess so, thank you Caleb.
This is how our weekend was except for Sunday when we took him home
and was at Allie's birthday party. He enjoyed his weekend.
I had bought him a kids camera and he played with it all
weekend. It had a video recorder in it as well as digital
pictures. He made his own movies all weekend.
I might have to post some of them for I am
sure you all want to see how I BRUSH MY TEETH!
And how I make a peanut butter and honey sandwich!
He sure has a great imagination, I can say that for sure!!!

Allie's 1st Birthday

Happy First Birthday Allie Marie!!!
and may there be many more!

Oh she loves her daddy, here daddy, you take a bite. (Even though momma did all the work. )

Here is the other princess of the home....isn't she lovely??? (except for the 5:00 shadow!)
Aunt Jenny helped grandma clean up the little princess after eating cake.
But I had to stop so I could take these pictures!!!
But this is usually the face she gets...a big cry from Allie, today is no different.

Let's play out side for a little while OK?
That is the new dolly from grandma and grandpa.
A new chair for the little princess.
The chair is from Aunt Lisa and Uncle Timmy,
she loves it. "Brother, get out of MY chair!"
Her new throne!
Momma--(Sarah) made her tutu, everyone thought it was cute.
Sarah is very crafty like HER mother was and can make
almost anything. She is VERY talented. She made the bow,
the tutu, her diaper bag, oh my the list can just keep going...blanket,
outfits....get my point? And she doesn't need a pattern either!
Allie was sure in a good mood. Every one had a good time
WELL, ALMOST EVERYONE!
